Description
This spectacular Mallorquian style villa is situated in the countryside of Pollensa only a couple of minutes drive from the town centre and the beaches of Puerto Pollensa. Villa Pontarro is magnificent and spacious Mallorcan farmhouse renovated to cater for all your needs whilst on holiday and enjoying the relaxation in the sun. You can feel the history when you are passing along the dense open stone walls.
From the first step through the gated entrance you can see original cobbled courtyard surrounded by flowers and olive trees. The mountain Puig Maria offers a magical atmosphere and extreme peace for those who are staying at the villa. It is surrounded by farmland and rolling fields.
The villa has central heating in all rooms and air conditioning units in all of the bedrooms. It has a fantastic beige ceramic tiling floor, combined with a traditional furniture and modern art work. The owners tried to save the typical rustic style and make a fusion with a modern touch.
The villa in total consist of 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and it can accommodate 10 people in total. Two of bedrooms have double beds, the rest provide 6 single beds in the remaining 3 bedrooms.
The dining room is full of natural sunlight through the large windows, large flat-screen TV, DVD and WIFI internet access throughout.
The large terrace on the back with a wood dining table secures privacy and shade during the stay with fantastic mountain views whilst enjoying the warm late nights over the BBQ. Also there is a table tennis in the garden area. Gardens are well maintained and surround the great shape of the swimming pool. Sun loungers are found all through the garden for enjoying the sun.

The terrace, welcomes you with a stunning view of the Port de Pollença bay area, complemented with the mountains as the perfect background. You can enjoy these views with a drink at the seating area or with a nice family barbecue at the long table that this terrace offers. The pool area, just like the house as a whole, is surrounded and protected by trees, giving you the perfect natural and peaceful atmosphere. Next to the pool you can also find some loungers at the lawn, ideal for a relaxing time.
As soon as you walk into the indoor area, you realize how spacious and large the Villa is, perfect for large families or for a big group. This property holds 5 double rooms of which all of them have air conditioning, and 4 bathrooms, of which 3 are en suite. The full capacity of the villa has a maximum of 10 people(plus a baby), 2 per bedroom.
You will rapidly feel at home when you relax in the living room next to the fireplace,surrounded with it's modern decoration and it's delightful choice of art collection. From the living room you reach to the dining area, where you will find a glass table with enough seatings for the whole family or group to enjoy a lovely meal, but the main highlight of this area, are the bookshelves that surround it, which ad's a nice antique touch to the dining area and also helps to make you feel like you are having lunch or dinner at your own place. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired as you will find all the necessary equipment. A very nice touch to the villa, is the office room, where you will find a spacious desk, where if needed you can spend some time of your holiday catching up with work or with studies.
As previously mentioned, this is the perfect villa to enjoy your vacation in a calm, peaceful area, but at the time, close to the main towns where if you fancy you can enjoy a lovely meal at the seafront, a walk down the beach or a lovely beverage in the square. Port de Pollença is the closest town to the property, but also, you will find other towns which are worth a visit that are a very reasonable distance away, like Pollença old town, Alcudia or Cala san Vicente.
